Appendix H: Connecting Motion / Alarm Devices
Connecting an Alarm OUT device
After you have connected an Alarm IN device (i.e. alarm or sensor), you must connect an alarm
OUT device
(i.e. strobe light etc. (not included)).
To connect a device to the Alarm Out port in the alarm block:
1. Connect the wires on the device to 1A and
1B of the alarm output. 1A is positive (+); 1B is
negative (-).
Enabling the connected Ouput device in the Alarm menu
To enable the output device in the Alarm menu:
1. Open the main menu>AL
ARM>ALARM SETUP
2. Beside Alarm Out1, select the desired trigger type by clicking
+ and - .
Beside the ON/OFF box, select ON and
then click on the upper right corner of the
screen to save your settings.
