Setting up Motion Recording

Setting Up Continuous Recording + Motion:

Step 1 of 2: Configure the schedule for 24/7 Continuous Recording and Motion:

1. Right-click in the main viewing window and click Ma

in Menu>Schedule Setup ( ).

2. Click on the desired schedule t

o configure on the left panel.

3. Deselect the "Enable Schedule Record" checkbox.

4. Select the "Enable Schedule Motion Detect" checkbox.

5. Configure the following:

• Start Time &

End Time: Set the Start Time to 00:00 and the End Time to 24:00.

• Days of the week: Select every day of the week; do not select Holiday.

6. Right-click and click Ye

s to save your changes.

Step 2 of 2: Enable motion detec

tion and Continuous Recording:

1. Enable motion detection for your cameras using the steps in “Enabling Motion Recording” on

page 23.

2. Ensure Continuous Recording is enabled.

• During Continuous Recording, the Record icon (

)appears in each channel. If the icon is not

shown, right-click and click Record on/off ( ).

Click on the desired schedule

Select Enable
